The Stage Is Set

More or less, anyway. Had to roll back to K2 v0.95 rc1 thanks to some rather annoying bugs with K2 v0.9.6, particularly ones that made my sidebar modules inexplicably all assume the same identity. WordPress currently can’t write to any static files, which is a permissions issue, but my host is running IIS and so I have no idea what voodoo they must engage in to bring about the equivelant of a chmod 777 on a few select items. I was able to conduct layout changes by editing stylesheets and PHP files locally and then uploading, which was effective but entirely tedious.  Obstacles are now overcome, I think it’s pretty much ready to fly now.

Putting With A Croquet Mallet

I’ve recently become fairly familiar with ye olde WordPress through my current vocation, and sometime around my twentieth install of the software I had a thought: perhaps the maintenance of a webcomic could be simplified through its employment.

Well, it’ll be an interesting experiment, at least.
